There's No Place Like Home: Gabe's Return to Downtown Villa Rica

Don't Call It a Comeback

After much anticipation, Gabe's Downtown is bringing contemporary Cajun cuisine back to Villa Rica's dining scene. Known for its warmth and charm, Gabe's aims to serve more than delicious food; it also aims to foster community.  Reopening just West of Atlanta, Villa Rica's downtown residents have expressed excitement about the restaurant's impending return. Mayor Leslie McPherson states, "[Gabe's Downtown] signals a new wave of economic vitality and community engagement," while the Development Authority says, "[the Cajun restaurant] aligns perfectly with [their] vision of…a vibrant and diverse downtown district." When Gabe's original Villa Rica location closed in 2021, the community felt the loss of not just a restaurant but a city staple.

A New Space to Celebrate

The new location, opening at 129 Main Street, features approximately 100 seats and a private event area perfect for forging new memories. The Villa Rica community can expect authentic Cajun offerings like seafood etouffee and southern fried chicken in a comforting environment.  Whether hosting a birthday party, anniversary, corporate event, or wedding, Gabe's classic Cajun cooking paired with the modern ambiance is the ideal venue. Owners Gabe and Tami Toups take great pride in serving the finest food in a friendly atmosphere.
